For ONAP, K8s resources that need to installed in different namespaces, and therefore be split into separate Helm packages
Separate out Orc8s and AGW charts

Workaround: Use same namespaces for all the Helm Charts

  • Review any KPI Network Slicing requirement to be submitted to the Magma team
    • Waiting feedback from Magma team about the presentation made in December
    • Let’s bring it to the Magma meeting on Thursday, Thu, January 27, 8am – 9am or Jan 27th (TBC)
  • Review our ONAP Enterprise Roadmap - what have we really completed in 2021 and what will be our 1H 2022 goals?
  • Enterprise Session at the DDF (30 mins)

  • Review follow-up on the action items:
  • Jorge Hernandez Review any KPI Network Slicing requirement to be submitted to the Magma team - working with Kader Khan 's team. 
    • Principle/approach to consider VES as ONAP/Magma segways for KPI Collection sounds to be OK - no push back
    • Suggestion was to work with Kader Khan 's team to define requirements, architecture (high/low) and E2E flows but no commitment about implementation
    • Potential POC with basic flows between ONAP/Magma including DCAE/VES collectors
    • Potential ONAP contribution to Magma code directly to support this use case?
  • 5G Super Blueprint: EMCO/ONAP/Magma Integration - Meeting 01-25-22 - 5G SBP + Anuket Assured

  • ONAP/Magma 1.6 Integration (Raghuram Gopalshett)
    • Raghu shared a permanent fix (CBA part) that allows ONAP Istanbul to integrate with Magma 1.6.
    • Tested / Deployed on AWS
    • Short Term plan:
      • The CBA "patch" will be available on the 5G Super Blueprint repo as it requires a integration/configuration change on ONAP
      • LJ Illuzzi will provide information about the 5G Blueprint repo that will contain the patch
      • Raghuram Gopalshett, Yogendra Pal to update the CBA patch to support Magma 1.7 and ONAP Istanbul Jakarta (TBC)
    • Long Term Plan:
      • Suggested by David McBride: Document as an use case for ONAP.Use case owner to be identified on the ONAP side to include this change as part of the ONAP Kohn release 
      • David McBride , Raghuram Gopalshett and Yogendra Pal will define the path to move forward
      • Let's use this scenario to define our process to integrate such "patches" identified during cross-community integration, supported by Security/Requirements/Architecture subcommittees and project teams
  • 5G Super Blueprint
      • Requirements and Use Case Advisory Group - please add your name to be part of the Use Case Advisory Group
      • Understand impacts on the different open source communities and impacted respective projects
      • FWA could be one of the E2E use cases to be recommended to the Requirements/Use Case Advisory Group and assess impacts on Core/Infrastructure/O-RAN etc.
  • Latest updates about SABRES POC
    • JIRA epic (including user stories) has been created - REQ-1166 - Getting issue details... STATUS , reviewed by some ONAP SECCOM members
    • Bi-weekly calls will resume soon between ONAP/SABRES Teams

  • ONAP/SABRES POC - Latest updates Gervais-Martial Ngueko 
    • SABRES/DCAE investigation ongoing: It has been identified by Vijay Venkatesh Kumar that what is required by SABRES
      is the deployment of a client software similar to what was done for the former DCAE collector-agent. This deployment was done
      via the VNFSDK project. David McBride will setup a call with the VNFSDK PTL to discuss with him.
    • SABRES/SO: a very good discussion occurred during the last SABRES bi-weekly call, the outcome is that more discussion are needed with the SO team
      and the Network slicing use case team. the SABRES team Lincoln Thurlow and Erik Kline will create  a wiki page to explain the graph input and output expected
      by the SABRES constructor (to compute the optimal path for the slice). the SO team Seshu Kumar Mudiganti need to understand at which level in the slice will be computed by the SABRES constructor.

Action Items (Closed)

  • (Catherine): Ask Magma team if the plan is still to use Rebaca Abot to exercise AGW 
  • (David) Need to investigate where the 5G Super Blueprint requirements are located
  • (Louis) Add best practices to 5G Super Blueprint requirements
  • (Thomas/Lukasz) Add best practices to our ONAP release note to deploy Helm Charts
  • (David) Need to reconnect with Dr Kline about SABRES
  • Kenny Paul - Check with Magma team about ONAP/Magma Integration - Service Assurance
