Takamune Cho to committer
Thank you, Patrick and Marcus.
+1 for me also
Marcus,
Thanks for feedback.
I was trying to follow
instructions on the Committer promotion form and was looking at another project
as an example..
My next step is to send form to
TSC and request to be added their agenda, I will include onap-discuss when I
send my email.
Thank you again!!

+1 – Sounds like an awesome
addition.
FYI – usually these votes are on
the list in most open source projects – sort of a public attestation of
promotion from current committers.
Thanks,
Marcus

Subject: Requesting vote to promote Takamune Cho to committer
Hi Team,
Per ONAP process, existing Committers must first vote and have majority consensus on a nomination for a new Committer before it goes to TSC for approval. With Skip stepping down from Committer to Contributor, I would like to nominate Taka Cho for promotion to Committer.
Taka joined the APPC project a few months back and he has already made 29 contributions and represented APPC at the December F2F in Santa Clara. He brings extensive technical skills and in-depths knowledge in many areas that are relevant to APPC and ONAP. Taka is a Principal Member Of Tech Staff, AT&T, located in New Jersey. So that you can learn a little more about Taka beyond the things we see in our day to day work on APPC, here is a brief bio of his impressive background/interests:
Computer engineering, Bachelor,
National Chiao Tung university, Taiwan.
Electronic Engineering, Master and PhD
degree, University of Tokyo, Japan.
Best paper award from the Remote
Sensing Society of Japan.
Best design award for volcanic ash
detection system from Japan Meteorological Agency.
Contributed effort for X Window, Emacs,
and FreeBSD since the dawn of open source society.
Group Leader, Weathernews Inc.,
Japan.
Vice President, Fixed income currencies
and commodities, Goldman Sachs, New York.
Member of IEEE, pattern recognition,
machine learning, PAMI.
Holding a US pending patent related to
IoT.
Fluent Mandarin, Japanese and English.
Interested on traveling by train.
For folks on the To: list, please do a Respond All with your vote: +1 to approve, -1 not approve..
Can you please respond no later than EOD 1/12/18 if possible?
Thanks,
Randa
