I want to add my new policy to ONAP, and I follow the steps in

https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Policy+Design.

But, I have a question in this process.

no matter which policy type I choose, there are always some attributes that I have to choose something but the portal give me nothing to choose.

for example, I choose "Action" Policy Type. So I have to fill in the "Component Attributes". The first field of "Component Attributes" is a choice box. I cannot input any text and I have to choose something.  However, when I click on the "pull-down menu" button, nothing is listed.

Has anyone added new policy into ONAP successfully or got the same error?

thank you!

Huaxiong Cao In Policy Application if you want to create any type of policy, it is driven by some attributes,
So, if you navigate to Dictionary tab in Policy Application. there we show some options to create the dictionary attributes based on Policy types.

Common Dictionary → which is used most commonly across all policies.
And, based on Policy type there are sub dictionary's that you want to create before creating the policy.
Once, Dictionary items are ready.  You can navigate to Editor tab and can create policies successfully.

Let me know if you need any other info on this.

      Thanks.
