Unable to pass consul healthchecks in OOM

Even though some of my services in OOM are up, but it is not showing in green in consul UI. For example for VID, the error looks like "GET http://vid.:8080/vid/healthCheck dial tcp: lookup vid. on 10.43.0.10:52 server misbehaving". But when I executed curl http://vid.:8080/vid/healthCheck in consul pod gave the response {"statusCode": 200, "message": "health check succeded", "date": null}

      Hi Bharath - this is a known problem with the consul health checks. Once we get all of the Robot health checks running (we've had as many as 37 of 42 pass today) we'll migrate the checks back to consul to enable real-time health checks.

        The JIRA is  OOM-1031 - Config Changes for consul to make vid, so, log health checks pass Closed  although now that I look at we should create some subtasks to cover off all of the components.

        By the way, 39 of 42 health checks passed on the Integration teams CD system this morning. (smile)
