I tryed to test the demo of VoLTE in 'beijing' Release a few days ago. I passed SDC and began to test the run-time.

But when I want to add VNF, I didn't find the 'ADD VNF' button.

I also meet this in the Release of 'Amsterdam'. Did I miss someting? How can I solve this?

By the way Only the demo of 'TOSCA' has this error. I tested the demo of 'vFW' which used 'HEAT' and it works well.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks

ChangJun

Can you upload the screenshot again? It's unavailable for some reason.

Please note, in Amsterdam VID didn't support VoLTE. In Beijing, VoLTE instantiation flow should instantiate the service and its sub-components (like vnfs, vf modules ..) at once.

Thanks for your reply. I have reupload the pic. I am using Release 'beijing' and I have created the service and vnf, But no button appeard to create vf module.

        Thanks

For VoLTE use case services (ones that implemented in VFC), your service category must be "E2E Service" in order to trigger the relevant instantiation flow. In that case all the service sub components should be instantiated at once by SO and VFC, meaning you shouldn't be able to instantiate them by youself manually.

Can you share what's your service category? (as set in SDC)

        Sorry to reply so late.

I recreated my service and set service category to "E2E Service" and I have distributed it successfully. Then I logined the user 'demo' and went into the VID. But when I created the service instance, An error occured. I don't know whether my "Product Family" and "Service Type" are right.

        Did I miss something?

By the way, There is another component named UUI,  Should I use the UUI to deploy the service?

What is the relation between VID and UUI?

        Thanks

Product Family and Service Type are fine, as long as they are populated.

It looks like an issue with SO, I would ask SO team with the relevant log files.

You should use VID which is the official OA&M dashboard. UUI is for demo purposes I believe.

        Thanks.
