DMaaP Bus Ctrl does not show subscribers/publishers...

In the DMaaP Bus Ctrl Portal of the Demo deployment subscriber/publisher,... are not shown due to host resolution problems. Is that related to the DNS setup ?

      Hi,

      I don't think that this is the real reason,
      As you see from the status line the problem is that the API of the DMaaP is not reachable:

      Also Testing the Access Profile shows the same error (NoRouteToHostException).
      It is trying to connect to the URL http://10.0.4.102/... which might not be possible from the portal.
      Any hint?

        Andreas,

        The API that the DMaaP Bus Crtl Portal interacts with is provided by a module called "DMaaP Bus Controller".  Because there is no username/password topics used for the vFW/vDNS demos in ONAP code base, the DMaaP Bus Controller has no active role to play in the demo setup.  Therefore it is not actually spun up.

      DMaaP supports three kinds of topics, anonymous, api key, and username/password.  DMaaP bus controller is for managing un/pw topics.  Since the topics running for the demo are mostly anonymous, some api key, none un/pw, they do not go through bus controller.  That is why they do not show up.
