Meeting Agenda & Minutes

Review open action items from last week

PTL election

VNFReqs (Steven W)

Steven presented their readthedocs area which includes 5 main artifacts. Alex raised the concern about VNFRQTS specifying behavioral requirements versus interface requirements. There are static testing procedures for a VNF Package (e.g., via inspection).

Thinh will prepare slides for next week's meeting on ETSI NFV package requirements. This topic generated a lot of discussion and needs further discussion. Should VNFRQTS be specifying RFP type requirements and define tests to validate those type of requirements? Or should it only focus on those requirements need for a VNF to operate within the ONAP platform?

VNF SDK architecture (Victor/Kanagaraj)

user-67d6f presented a slide deck proposing how to rearchitect VNFSDK for compliance testing -- VNF Testing Framework including objectives and pitfalls of existing frameworks. There were many questions from Moshe, as well as Alex and Brian on the presentation. The presentation needs additional clarification. Discussion was cut off as we went over. We did not cover Victor's alternative presentation.

Status and JIRA review

Any new business?

  1. Hi Chris, Brian,

Plenty of mistakes/inconsistencies in the above minutes: The presentation that we held is owned by Victor (at least how it is mentioned). Kanagaraj presentation is attached and still needs to be presented - according to my understanding. I'm not even talking about the fact that you frequently miss my name in the list of attendees (smile)
