M2 Checklist

Project passed M2

Alex raised an issue. Modeling meeting, setback on how we model VNF Descriptors. Data model cannot be completely divorced from what's defined in ETSI. To what degree does it need to match ETSI? However ETSI model isn't finished. VNF Suppliers want the ETSI approach. This goes against developing an ONAP centric VNFD with ETSI influence. There will be an upcoming ETSI F2F meeting (starts 2/27/18) that will be discussing SOL001. We need to translate the ETSI spec to derive and VNFD and translate it for a run time model. There is an underlying assumption that TOSCA parsers don't need to fully parse the VNFD. The VNFD should be agnostic to the parser. AT&T (Anatoly) will provide a response in a week (2/28), data models need frozen along with the interfaces. Anatoly's DM provides support for HPA.
