    I vote for #3 - better font than #4. The design of #3 is better than #1 - especially for grey background version.

    I think just "CDS" with a small thingie as in #3,4 is sufficient, no text needed as it would make the logo look cleaner.

    If the majority feels "Controller Design Studio" is appropriate, maybe make it flush with the left/right side... In my opinion, due to font curvature, it's hard to the text look aligned if it's centered but smaller than the entire length.
