Survey questions (WIP)


1. In your view, who is the main target audience for the ONAP Wiki?

a. Developers only. End users should never rely on the wiki and instead use ReadTheDocs.

b. Mostly developers, but we should make some effort to make it easy for end users to find useful information

c. Dual purpose - The wiki should have sections/ pages for developers own use, but also pages aimed at end users


2. What issues do you think should be improved? (multiple selection)

a. Searchability

b. "Freshness" indicator (identify and mark stale pages that do not reflect reality anymore)

c. Page hierarchy

d. Quality of material (Level of details, readability, page structure)

e. Categorization (E.g. tagging pages with labels such as "Sandbox/brainstorm", "Feature", "Architecture", "issue", etc.)


3. Do you have a reference Wiki space that can serve as an example for ONAP?

4. What direction do you prefer to see Wiki 2.0 going?

a. A free sandbox type of wiki where anybody can create any content in any shape they like.

b. A structured wiki, with designated spaces for brainstorming, feature description, architecture, guides, etc.

5. What approach do you think might work best for the ONAP wiki?

a. An automated "agent" that would constantly scan wiki content, flag incompatible pages and , if possible, automatically fix them.

b. A group of community members that will be tasked with constantly improving the wiki content.


6. Tell us about yourself - which best describes you?

a. I am a PTL/Committer/Contributor to one or more ONAP Project

b. I am a member of one of the ONAP subcommittees or task forces

c. I am an ONAP end user

d. I am a consultant/architect helping others use ONAP

e. I am not a non-ONAP Community member wishing to learn more about ONAP, but I found its Wiki too intimidating.
