Agenda
- Release Management Tasks:
- Documentation - appears to be complete for Jakarta
- one patch 129325 open - for Jakarta that can be merged (otherwise won't have any read the docs) - https://gerrit.onap.org/r/c/oom/+/129325 - can be merged
- one patch 129321 open - release nodes for cert service - https://gerrit.onap.org/r/c/oom/platform/cert-service/+/129321 - can be merged
- need a branch for the cert service (still pending) Andreas Geissler - Suggestion is to branch first then merge the 129321 into master (to force readthedocs rebuild), then
cherry pick to the new branch.
- Offline installer is no longer being maintained. For Kohn, need to move to unmaintained state. (The process for doing this is still being defined by SECCOM.)
- Service mesh
- Andreas Geissler continuing to test. Found problem with policy not using http communication with SDC.
- SDNC changes in OOM are WIP. DMaaP listener not working, issue with ElasticSearch (not yet service mesh compatible).
- Current submissions for other components are not passing gating, likely due to problems in the gating environment. Once gating passes, they can be merged.
- Looking to have a daily run that uses Istio.
- Strimzi is having some issues related to certificates in gating.
- OOM-2975 – umbrella epic for removal of AAF dependencies. Question: do we still need to allow AAF as an option via if/else in charts? Probably should first get service mesh working first. Ultimately, have the option to run with service mesh or without service (using only http).
- ArgoCD - possibly document as an alternative installation method. Possible contribution of charts for ArgoCD.
- Should the documentation for ONAP installation just provide specifications for the necessary K8S cluster, without dictating how the cluster is installed?
- PTL election:
- No news so far.
