  • OVN-Kubernetes CNI requires to provide control over their subnet IP range.
  • It was mentioned the effort that it's done in the OPNFV community (https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/PROJ/Ovn4nfv)
  • The KRD source code can be migrated to some OPNFV project. The Compass project is a possible candidate but it requires to follow their procedures. Visibility and support are the main reasons for its migration.
  • It was explained the integration functional test (https://github.com/electrocucaracha/krd/blob/master/tests/integration.sh) which is using multus and virtlet capabilities.
  • The integration functional test that uses containers is under development.
  • The K8s plugin supports the capability to create resources in different namespaces.
  • The kubeconfig information can be stored and read from AAI database.
  • Manage CRD can be a challenge and it's something that needs to be investigated.
  • Every object created through the plugin generates a new UUID, this UUID needs to be stored for future reference but it's necessary to determine who is responsible to store this information.
