SDC has a huge codebase, we have made significant changes in various areas of SDC for H release.

Even though each new feature was provided with new tests, we only see the impact on coverage after the code is merged. There were also old tests that were broken/replaced so there was a significant rework in this area. Nevertheless, code coverage has dropped below the 55% mark and is below the quality gate, requesting an exception for M3.

No impact on Schedule

Call to the community to increase coverage above 55% (currently at 54.1% which translate to about 1300 lines to cover)

Proposal is to complete this task by RC0.

Since this only affects test code, we don't see much risk, call for tests contributions have been made to the community already.
