SON Use Case Montreal Release R13 Requirements : Slide deck:  ONAP_SON_R13_Requirements_20230704.ppt


An overview of the R13 Montreal release enhancements for the SON Use Case is given in the above deck.

Below are the major development activities that we will be doing in the Montreal release.

  • Convert RAN Simulator from docker based deployment with the k8s pod deployment.
  • Create Helm charts for RAN Simulator and Honeycomb servers.
  • Integrate RAN SIM Helm chart with the OOM Deployment.
  • Create CDS based workflows for Honeycomb Day-1 Config updates.
  • Carryover London release CM update work.

Figure 1 shows the overall architecture of the SON Use Case, with the Montreal release enhancements shown in Figure 2.

For the R13 Montreal release, the plan is to complete the CM Update Notification flow and deploy RAN SIM as part of OOM deployment.

Modules: CPS, SDN-C, use existing DCAE VES Collector:
Description: Complete the CM update flow - set up CPS DB, process the CM VES message published by the VES Collector, update CPS DB.
