Integration of Controller Design Studio Capabilities (CDS) with SDC Flexible Workflow Designer (WFD) and SO Execution

Executive Summary: CDS self-serve capability that allows a designer to script custom actions (or subflows) viewed as a building block in SO. Integrating this capability with the SDC WFD to create an end to end workflow that is executed by SO, provides the required flexibility to network life cycle management.

Business Impact:  Network operators require flexibility that enables Life Cycle management of vNFs, pNFs and Services. The ability to create custom building blocks and workflows independent of a formal software release. This provides operators with the required tools to maintain their network and support the unforeseen emergencies further assuring service continuity and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Business Markets: All operators and service providers that are using ONAP for vNF, pNF and service Life Cycle Management

Funding/Financial Impacts: Reduction in development and operations expenses from release independent custom flexible actions/subflows and end to end workflows.
