POMBA Integration Demo 1

August 23, 2018

Summary

This demo shows the introduction of several POMBA components into the ONAP ecosystem and their integration. An audit event is injected through the the Data Router, which invokes the Context Aggregator to query its available context builders – in this case, A&AI and SDC – in order to collect the data to be audited. (Note: For this demo, the A&AI data source is represented by a SoapUI MockService using previously captured data.) The aggregated data is accepted by the Validation Service and processed for inconsistencies before a report is generated. This report is stored in Elasticsearch and viewed via Kibana.

POMBA Network Discovery Demo

September 12, 2018

Please refer to Network Discovery Demo - Sept 12, 2018 for this demo.

POMBA Integration Demo 2

September 27, 2018

Summary

This demo shows the evolution of the POMBA project from the previous demonstration and also incorporates the Network Discovery components. One of the major updates involves a new POMBA API, which reduces the number of required parameters to initiate audits and also facilitates much more robust attribute collection from the various data sources. Two sets of validation rules – comparing AAI to SDC and AAI to Network Discovery – have been added to validate the consistency between the data sources.

An audit event is injected through the Data Router, which invokes the Context Aggregator to query its available context builders – A&AI, SDC and Network Discovery – in order to collect the data to be audited. (Note: For this demo, both the AAI and SDC data sources are real but the Network Discovery source is an AAI Enricher simulator.) The aggregated data is accepted by the Validation Service and processed for inconsistencies before a report is generated. This report is stored in Elasticsearch and viewed via Kibana.

Warning
titleUpdate

In current development, Network Discovery microservice sends it's southbound REST API requests directly to OpenStack rather than to AAI Enricher.
