It seems the updated proposed VDU IM is different from IFA. What is the intent for it? Is there a migration path for accommodating implementations that are compatible for IFA IM and supposed to be ready for the R2 usecase?

Just adding this for closure - as discussed on an ONAP Modeling call, the intent here is to separate deployment from VNFC. Also discussed on the call was the plan to postpone this 'separation' until after Beijing.
The model will be updated to reflect the above.
