Integration testing requires two full specification ONAP clusters.

Refer to the documentation at the link below for the ONAP cluster specification:

https://docs.onap.org/projects/onap-oom-offline-installer/en/latest/InstallGuide.html

Platform requirements (for running two concurrent ONAP clusters)

  • 80 vCPU
  • 320 GB RAM
  • 500 GB of high-speed storage

Minimal

TBD

Reasoning/Justification for integration requiring two clusters:

ONAP not only needs to be built, but also all apps need to start and get initialised with fake data to perform integration tests.

We not only built the apps but also need them to work really hard for about 4 hours to run the full suite of tests.

Current Azure Resource Consumption

The current integration testing environment in Azure consumes:

80vcpus, 320GB for 2 clusters

Other infra (NFS server, Nexus and other tools in a separate small cluster) that uses 7 additional VMs of different sizes

We also found 12 vms (4cpu and 16gb each) on that account that might be for something else, no idea what they do (yet).
