Chesla Wechsler hosted (Anatoly was on holiday).

Anatoly will be on holiday today and the next two Mondays.  We are working with Kenny to try to schedule a call later this week and reschedule others.  An email will be sent to the modeling email address with a schedule once finalized.

We covered a draft of an internal-model based version of sections 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 of the SOL001 spec to provide the high level context for the proposed internal model.

We covered the Appendix 5 sample.

  • there are some syntax errors that were fixed
  • a solution for the Editor's note on how to specify information not known at design time was proposed (with a dangling requirement)
  • the fixed sample can now be parsed by the Puccini TOSCA parser.  This was a pre-step to ensure understanding of the sample and working off a clean base

Static info such as descriptor_id, provider, product_name, descriptor_version, etc., can be consolidated into a data type such as vendor_provided_details and should represent a common set of such information provided when any package is onboarded (whether ETSI SOL001 or other).   This is the type of data which shows some of the commonality across Network Function (and is not specific to VNF vs. PNF vs. ANF).

We could use more information as to the intent of the empty base types (ConfigurableProperties, etc.) and what software would be expected to do with them, once used as the base for a derivation.  Would there be a standard dictionary across vendors as to the keys used and what the meanings are?

We discussed creating a new place in the Wiki to contain this information (Target Internal Data Model materials).  Will be discussed in the main call on Tue.
