Notes and Actions
- Integration test status of Guilin extensions and scenarios not yet tested was discussed.
- The availability of solution in OOF for 'shared NSI/shared NSSI' scenario will enable allocate/activate e2e flows to be validated for Option 1 (with all 3 NSSMF flows also tested).
- The decision reg. the use of CPS - impacted components, APIs to use will be taken later this week from a use case perspective. While we will use CPS and remove Config DB completely in the long-term, we have to ensure that the use case functionality is working in H-release.
- The issue of access to ONAP labs was brought up by Alessandro/Alex, as current testing is being done in TIM labs. Alex Borovitzky to share the details of Jira raised for Windriver access, and Swaminathan Seetharaman to check and provide a feedback/follow-up.
- With reference to the issues reported by Alessandro (ref. mail dated 9th Feb) during the setup and testing of Option 1 in TIM lab:6. A meeting took place last week to discuss reg. the issues/extensions in SO and OOF. The actions listed in below table were agreed.
- A meeting between SO and OOF team members took place for enhancements and issues. The following actions were defined:
- OOF updates for NSI/NSSI reuse scenario: krishna moorthy will work on the solution. Zhang Min/ Chuyi Guo to share sample info stored in AAI for a an NSI and its associated Service Profile(s) by NSMF.
- Slice Profile and Service Profile mapping updates: Swaminathan Seetharamanto prepare a proposal and share it.
- camelCase and hyphenated attribute names: We should look at how to achieve a consistent naming between SO and AAI, so that no conversion is required for attribute names. Chuyi Guo to check regarding this beyond Honolulu.
- NST selection/Slice profile generation enhancements: Chuyi Guo, krishna moorthy and Swaminathan Seetharaman to discuss reg. this further. This is not in scope for Honolulu.
- NSSI name to be provided to NSMF by NSSMF (for UUI): Zhang Min/ Chuyi Guo to provide the details to Deepika S, Henry Yu and user-ae564 for RAN, Transport and Core NSSMFs.
- Coverage area input by operator: Swaminathan Seetharamanto share a sample map and text to xu ran for the contents to be displayed in UUI.
Topic | Issue(s) | Proposed action(s) |
---|---|---|
Distribution of design artifacts | There is an issue in distribution of Slice Profile templates. |
|
Allocate Core NSSI | Shared NSSI solution availability in OOF | krishna moorthyis working on it, and will inform when it is available. |
OOF Music certificate: Has the OOF Music certificate issue been fixed in the master branch? | Yes, and it has also been fixed in the Guilin (maintenance) branch. | |
About Helm 2.x: Fix testing is also blocked due to OOM Helm 2.x issue as dev-oof same as dev-so are releases are not recorded in Helm because Helm time out in long lasting jobs. | This issue is due to the size of the charts. krishna moorthy will provide scripts for deployment of OOF and SO to address this. | |
Core Simulators | Core Simulators CNFs go into CrashLoopBackOff state |
|
DCAE | Microservices cannot Pub/Sub into message router topics because of 401 unauthorized error | This seems to be an issue with PM-Mapper deployment or some configuration issue. Alessandro Gerardo D'Alessandroto post a query to onap-discuss mailing list, as well as bring it up in the weekly DCAE call. |
NBI Instantation | Check tenantid as configured in the ENV variable vs the tenantid as reported in the svcOrder. The two values for some reasons do not match and the NBI reports an error. | Aleem Rajaclarified that the tenant id should match the one in AAI, otherwise there should be no issues in using multiple tenants. Alex Borovitzky/ user-7493f to share relevant logs with Aleem Raja in case the issue persists. |
