  • AAI reverse engineering discussion:
    • new PNF instance model created from latest work
      • main change: automatically translate edge rules into UML diagram's associations
      • so the result is richer than the original diagram (Example: PNF in AAI), both based on AAI schema v16
    • question:
      • if the new diagram contains too much content or not? what level of detail we would want?
      • how to map edge rules to association/dependency/..., and if it could be done consistently within the AAI model

  • Allotted Resource model introduction:
    • allotted resource run on top of sharable NFs (VNF/PNF)
    • question: should allotted resource associated to NFs or services? allotted resource seems not used (we use service descriptor instead)

    • an abstract way to describe dynamic parameters
    • have been discussed in service IM team for weeks, and now would like to generalize to resource domain
    • core idea:
      • "parameter" class represents a dynamic parameter
      • "parameterSpecValue" class represents value range definition
      • "parameterValue" class represents value of the parameter of a particular instance
      • "parameterGroup" is the group to which the parameter belongs
    • the same parameter could be used for both VNF and PNF
