- The A1 policy sample for the Closed Loop was reviewed, and Arda shared some feedback. The updated A1 spec is awaited from O-RAN - we will evaluate during the next 1-2 weeks if the spec will be available in time for H-Release. If not, we may take a short-term approach or decide to continue with the O1 interface for the Closed Loop in H-release also. Swaminathan Seetharamanto check with Arda offline regarding this.
- The proposal for Slice Profile decomposition as described in E2E Network Slicing is OK to start with for H-release. Subsequently, we can look at possible enhancements based on network conditions (PM data and trends) and use of OOF.
- RRM Policy proposal was OK for NRCellDU (PRBs) and NRCellCU (RRC connected users) but for GNBCUUPFunction (DRBs), Arda pointed out some corrections to be made. Again, the overall approach is OK for now, and we can look at enhancements later on, based on inputs and feedback from O-RAN also. Swaminathan Seetharamanto make the necessary corrections.
- We are proposing a demo of ONAP G-release+ functionality for RAN Slicing sometime during second half of Feb to both ONAP and O-RAN/OSC community. Further details have to be worked out.
