There are two different methods for scaling a VNF(C).  If the VNF can be managed by either the Application Controller (APPC) or a VNF Manager (VNFM) via the Virtual Function Controller (VF-C) within ONAP.  There are many similarities between these two scaling methods and these two Use Cases will work to ensure that we maximize the commonalties and only create parallel workflows where absolutely need.

Below is a early view of where the APPC and VF-C scaling will be similar and where it will be different.  This diagram will be updated as more information is discovered.
