  1. hi andy, wonderful chart, a few comments here:

    1. In the VNF SDK project,  the model includes VNF Model and VNF Package Model.  What's your view about the two model's scope?
    2. The Package model in my mind is in charge of package dirctory structure and entry definition. There is the VNF Package model defined by the ETSI and OASIS. Could we also refer to them?
    3. In the OpenO ,VNF package structure are also defined and we can make it as the reference as well.
  2. Andy, thanks for a very clear features chart and roadmap. My few comments:

    • This project has in scope the VNF package model. In general the VNF model is out of scope besides that the VNFD metadata required to identify the authenticity of the VNF supplier: VNF supplier ID, VNF version etc.
    • VNF package integrity feature should be considered  as ONAP R1 by using a manifest file with digests per artifacts - as specified in TSI NFV SOL004 - see my comments on SOL004 Epic in VNFSDK-18 - Getting issue details... STATUS
    • As discussed in the Epic the OpenO VNF package structure is one of the options to consider but we should not forget that SOL004 allows two CSAR formats.
    • To my knowledge SOL004 includes all business features shown in your slide # 6 + security. For LCM features the ETSI NFV SOL005 draft may be used specifying VNF package management RESTful  API's
NOTE: ONAP community is invited to participate in ETSI NFV webinar on 12-th of July where the SOL004 standard features will be presented.

  3. Hi Andy, all

I uploaded two files in contributions folder:

    • VNF package presentation we've done in ETSI Webinar yesterday
    • ETSI NFV VNF package standard spec- TOSCA CSAR endorsement

My proposal is to start mapping the VNF package model you created to VNF package CSAR and agree on features/options for the Amsterdam release.

    Andrei

  4. Hi All,

I uploaded the latest drafts of IFA011, TOSCA NFV YAML Profile and TOSCA Simple YAML Profile to the contributions page. I also linked OPEN-O VNF template information on the same page.

  5. Hi Andy,

Suggest that we create a global "to do" (AI) list outside of the meeting minutes pages. This would make it easier to keep track of AI, without have to go to each minutes page individually.

    Thoughts?
