In the normal E2E Network Slice architecture which is supported in the ONAP, RAN NSSMF is responsible for the creation of Transport Front Haul and Back Haul slice subnet instances as defined in the architecture below.

In this scenario 2, NSMF itself will be taking care of the TN front haul and back haul slice subnet creation as mentioned in the architecture below.

Next release activities

Only the E2E Slice allocation flow is implemented and tested in the Istanbul release. The Network Slice activation and termination will be covered in the next release.
