E2E Network Slicing Meeting Notes for May 10, 2022

• Integration tests status:

     • Issues: 
       • CBA pkg issue - in progress
       • CN Activate flow bug (SO-3838)
  2. Integration Test of RAN NSSMF - https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Integration+Test+of+RAN+NSSMF 
     • Completed except 2 test cases yet to be done.
  3. Integration Test of TN Sub-net Slicing - https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Integration+Test+of+TN+Sub-net+Slicing
     • Completed
  4. Integration Test of Closed Loop for Network Slicing - https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Integration+Test+of+Closed+Loop+for+Network+Slicing
     • Completed
     • Previous issues resolved for Non-intent based closed loop testing
     • Workaround to DCAEGEN2-3067 used
  5. E2E Network Slicing Testing - https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/E2E+Network+Slicing+Testing
     • Issues:
       • CN Activate flow bug
       • External RAN NSSMF code needs to be merged
       • Activation error - TN NSSMF (Deepika, Hesam) - resolved
• Agreement: Certain carry-over, RAN, E2E test cases, which are blocked by a few bugs mentioned above will be deferred to K-release. 

• Short term solution:

  • Working to update the release images

    • Patch merged (https://gerrit.onap.org/r/c/externalapi/nbi/+/129167), 2nd patch created
    • Will create OOM patch
• Long term solution: 
  • No progress in identifying the owner for the repo.

• SO-3838 - Error while executing core NSSMF activate flow
• CBA package from I release not working properly, getting help from Sashmita.
  • Able to create core slice, NFs are updated, error with service instantiation in the 2nd time (4/19/2022)
  • Testing on new CBA package (4/26/2022)
